**HELP**- Need to raise money for flight; stuck in NY

i never thought i’d be making a post like this but i am in desperate need of help— the short story is i’m stuck in NYC with a small amount of cash in my pocket, and only the clothes on my back (my luggage is already in houston) and a small bag of my electronics.  i need to make $100 to get a flight to houston asap and i am offering commissions and accepting donations, any help at all is appreciated tremendously.

the long story is that i am trying to move out of a really shitty home situation, and a friend of mine was gracious enough to offer me a place in houston, tx.

i was able to get as far as newark, nj, but then unable to connect to any flights out of there.

unfortunately the ticket i’ve been using to try to get on flights is only a employee standby pass— which means i would be allowed on only after all the confirmed ticket holders have boarded and THEN after the standbys of people who were once confirmed ticket holders. so the chance of me actually getting on any flights, as i found out, ends up being very very slim. 

i tried all the flights i can in newark but was turned away, i then took the subway and a train to NY to stay with some friends until a better day for flights came up. spent most of my money on trains and phone minutes, tried again at another airport at 7 am and every flight i attempted was overbooked and united airlines basically would not deal with me at all because i had a buddy pass and not a real ticket. they told me that i would not be able to get on any more flights and i could be staying there indefinitely.

SO, now im at a gracious friends house wearing the same thing ive been wearing for 3 days now, on top of being anxious about getting to houston and out of here. not sure what else to type, it’s been an extremely frustrating day and again thanks for any help… really hope i can catch the cheapest ticket im looking at right now skdjfsdf
