here’s somebody I haven’t drawn in a really long time…
I used to love this show called Storm Hawks- it was sort of an “action-friendship-rebelling against the man” sort of show not unlike Motorcity, with gorgeous visual design and an amazing world lore they built up… not unlike Motorcity, where a group of kids and their amazing souped-up custom motorbikes that could turn into gliders (instead of sexy cars) to fight a megalomaniacal overlord that wants to use these powerful magical crystals to take over this planet that is essentially made up of thousands of floating islands. So using gliders to get around makes sense. Here’s episode 1/2 if you want to watch it.
haha dang… it’s… really similar now that I think about it. crap. Maybe that’s a good thing.
Anyway my favourite character was this one, he was sort of the Chuck of the group but was always a real sardonic asshole about how everyone else loved to leap into danger and be heroic and get themselves killed, etc, but once in a while he’d pull out the good stuff and do something badass which is always awesome :B
But the coolest thing was that he had a really unique sort of look, he was like… some sort of lanky frog/gecko/cat alien thing. He always was hunched over and always in strange poses, sort of like Spider-man in a way(which is probably why he is fun to draw) and he looked and acted uncomfortable walking on two legs which I thought was sort of a neat flare to his character. Hard to explain, his character is sort of complex I guess, I would describe him as “creepy, neurotic and prone to maniacal outbursts”
anyway here you go have some doodles that aren’t very accurate
edit holy SHIT WORD WALL
SORRY ABOUT THAT
