thegagamann: busterbeam: obscurevideogames: Vatlva (Victor/JVC - Saturn - 1996) I remember seeing the original sketch version of this illustration on Hitoshi Ariga’s deviantart account http://hitoshiariga.deviantart.com/ and thinking ‘oh god this looks awesome I need to play this’ then I looked up videos and realized the game itself is really just a Japanese Micro Machines and got hella sad this is still fantastic artwork though I just picked up this game real cheap and really it’s more like Bomberman than Micro Machines and is pretty darn fun, a real hidden gem IMO. A shame that the only place this illustration appears in the manual is on the contents page covered in text. Also Yuzo Koshiro soundtrack. I ripped the music from the disc, might upload some tracks later.
